Commissions

I am happy to take commissions. I have painted a number of people, dogs and other animals. I can also paint your house or favourite location.

Sizing & Pricing

You can choose the size of artwork that best suits your space. Prices start at £150 for a smaller 8"x8" portrait and go up to £350 for my largest work which is 12"x16". The measurements refer to the size of paper I use. Your portrait will sit within those dimensions and will come mounted and backed in a neutral coloured mount.

If you have a specific size in mind I am happy to discuss individual requests.

Photographing your subject

In order for me to capture a likeness of your pet or any other subject a good quality photograph is essential. When photographing animals take the photograph outside if possible, make sure the eyes are open and visible and ensure the colours are as true to natural as possible.

Pictures should preferably be taken from the subject's height with collars and leads removed. Pets should be seated rather than laying down.

Please send as many photos as possible.

Payment

I aim to complete a commission within 4 weeks. A non refundable deposit of £40 is requested. The balance is due once a photograph is received of the completed work and you've confirmed your happy with the painting. Payment can be made by bank transfer or if you are collecting from my studio I can accept cheques, cash and card payments.

The cost of posting via Royal Mail special delivery is usually between £10 - £40 for UK delivery and £50 - £60 for worldwide delivery
